Educators play a significant role in shaping individuals' social growth, personal maturity, and cognitive abilities. Their impact originates from a passion for knowledge, an ability to inspire innovative perspectives in learners, comprehension of human growth stages, and specialized expertise. Typical teaching responsibilities encompass: designing lesson plans, delivering instruction, communicating with families and school officials, and staying current with educational advancements. The College of Education offers a specific science teaching program: The High School Science Education curriculum equips future educators to teach science for grades 9-12. Participants in this program focus on one of four concentrations: biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics.
