Elementary educators instruct students in public and private institutions, covering academic subjects, social development, and physical coordination. They create curriculum frameworks, design lessons, deliver instruction, lead classroom interactions, maintain attendance logs, assign tasks, and assess learning outcomes. When students face academic or personal challenges, these educators provide guidance while also communicating with families about scholastic performance and conduct.
This program prepares graduates for Elementary Teaching certification (Kindergarten through 6th grade), culminating in a Bachelor of Science with STEM specialization. Educators gain versatile competencies in areas like instructional methods and school management, enabling career transitions. Through supplementary studies, professionals can specialize in fields including ESL, Special Education, or Gifted Education. Advanced degrees open pathways to roles such as academic advisors, school leaders, or library media coordinators.
