This expansive domain focuses on understanding animal biology, husbandry, stewardship, and welfare. Professionals in animal science engage in every aspect of domestic animal husbandry, from research and development to marketing, client services, commercial operations, and academic instruction. The bachelor's program offers three specialized tracks: general science, veterinary bioscience, and industry applications.
The veterinary bioscience track specifically prepares students for doctoral veterinary medicine programs by incorporating all required prerequisite coursework within its curriculum.
