Qualification Requirements

All regulations governing admission to the Graduate School of Arts and Science must be met by all those seeking admission to graduate study in the MS-CEI program. In particular, students must have an accredited baccalaureate degree or its equivalent in computer science, mathematics or engineering with strong programming, analytical and technical skills. We also expect students to have a strong passion for entrepreneurship.

The following items are required:

A completed application, including a Statement of Purpose. The Statement of Purpose should demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship and innovation including prior experiences with innovation, product development and entrepreneurial activities.
Three letters of recommendation (at least one academic and one professional)
GRE scores recommended (GMAT or LSAT will not be accepted)
TOEFL or IELTS scores for any student whose native language or medium of undergraduate instruction is not English
A resume or CV that describes your work experience
Successful applicants to the MS program in Computing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship will generally have the following minimum qualifications:

Strong academic credentials with good grades in relevant technical and mathematical courses
Positive, specific recommendations
Strong work or project experience that demonstrates innovation skills and product development
A passion for entrepreneurship demonstrated by prior experience
TOEFL, if required, above 620 (paper) or 260 (computer), or 100 (TOEFLI)
IELTS, if required, minimum band score of 7.0
