The Master's program in Religious Studies offers an exploration of key aspects in today's academic examination of religion. Our focus spans religion's intersection with media, secularism and diverse faith traditions, along with how religious practices evolve in modern times. Graduates often pursue doctoral studies or careers in various sectors such as media, book publishing, teaching, and charitable organizations. The curriculum consists of two components: 1) specialized MA courses that deliver intensive instruction in sociological frameworks and religious scholarship, and 2) elective seminars chosen with faculty guidance from the broader graduate course offerings. Students complete either a thesis or comprehensive exam, developed in collaboration with our faculty and specialists in related disciplines, showcasing the knowledge and competencies gained throughout their studies.
