The combined undergraduate program in Global Public Health and Food Studies offers cross-disciplinary education exploring food systems through historical, cultural, political, economic, and geographical lenses, focusing on enhancing health across diverse communities. NYU Steinhardt's dual major equips students for professional paths in advocacy, policy-making, agricultural sectors, food manufacturing, public affairs, and international development, while also laying the foundation for graduate studies in public health, food systems, or allied disciplines. Students in this program can enhance their academic learning through hands-on internship opportunities. Our department maintains partnerships with various institutions where students can refine their abilities under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
