The Contemporary Voice concentration combines vocal studies with practical performance experience, emphasizing technique through vocal function, anatomy, and physiology. The curriculum covers fundamental music subjects like theory, ear training, piano proficiency, and music history, alongside genre-specific vocal instruction, theater and movement classes, and progressive contemporary vocal workshops concentrating on stagecraft, song analysis, and artistic expression.
