The Gallatin School of Individualized Study collaborates with the School of Global Public Health (GPH) to provide a combined degree option, allowing students to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (BA) through Gallatin's customized program alongside a Master of Science (MS) in Biostatistics more efficiently than pursuing each degree independently. This alliance benefits from both schools' emphasis on cross-disciplinary learning, making it an attractive option for participants in either program.
This accelerated degree path caters to high-achieving students passionate about public health, enabling them to enhance their undergraduate education across diverse disciplines—from sciences and social sciences to humanities—with graduate-level training in biostatistics. The MS in Biostatistics equips students with comprehensive public health knowledge while developing specialized skills in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and computational methods.
