The ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering, B.S. program provides a foundation in designing and developing mechanical systems, structures, thermo-fluid systems, aerospace systems, advanced transportation, and energy systems using modern technology and hands-on experiences.
The aerospace concentration centers on designing aircraft and space vehicles. Your coursework focuses on material properties, manufacturing, and propulsion, tailored to keep pace with the evolving demands of the aerospace sector. The curriculum includes numerous design projects, ensuring you graduate with job-ready skills. You'll also benefit from extra learning opportunities at our Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center, participation in engineering clubs (ASME, SAE, NSBE), and undergraduate research with faculty through our Undergraduate Research & Entrepreneurial Program (UREP).
