The Master of Science in Chemistry program provides specialization in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical chemistry, and biochemistry. Students can pursue either a thesis-based or non-thesis track, both requiring a minimum of 30 credit hours. The thesis path equips learners with contemporary chemical approaches (coursework), investigative problem-solving techniques (research), and effective scientific communication (through seminars and presentations). All candidates must complete core coursework, with thesis students additionally undergoing a first-year qualifying exam and a comprehensive final assessment including thesis defense. Non-thesis students complete their program with a departmentally-designed final examination.
