The Master of Music program provides specialization in Conducting, Music Education, or Performance. Candidates need to hold a bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education comparable to New Mexico State University's B.M. or B.M.E. programs. While the Graduate Record Exam isn't mandatory, the Music Department requires all applicants to demonstrate advanced language proficiency and writing abilities suitable for graduate studies.
