They are employed across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, utilities, retail, government, and research, making their tools and techniques both versatile and extensive. Utilizing expertise in engineering, mathematics, and the physical and social sciences, industrial engineers apply engineering analysis and design principles to evaluate and optimize systems.
