The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Counseling and Community Psychology (CCP) equips students with bachelor's-level expertise, emphasizing interpersonal abilities, case management, mental health awareness, behavioral understanding, and cultural competency. This program also serves as a foundation for graduate studies, enabling future psychology practitioners to gain specialized knowledge in research and professional practice.
To graduate, students must fulfill all university requirements, including General Education courses, Viewing a Wider World components, and elective credits totaling at least 120 credits (with 48 credits at the 3000-level or higher). While developmental courses don't count toward degree requirements, they may be necessary prerequisites for core English and Mathematics classes.
