The public health curriculum equips students for professional roles in community and public health initiatives, as well as positions within nonprofit organizations, private entities, and government agencies. After earning their degree, graduates qualify to sit for the national Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam, which is conducted by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
