Finance sits at the intersection of economics, strategy, and accounting, examining how businesses and people distribute resources across time amid uncertainty. The finance program builds a solid grounding in corporate finance, investments, and financial institutions before applying these principles to real-world challenges. These include financial markets, corporate financial management, international finance, equity valuation, portfolio management, fixed-income securities, derivatives, risk mitigation, insurance, and startup financing. The BBA in Finance offers four specialized tracks: Financial Analyst, Banking and Financial Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, and Entrepreneurial Finance. Learners can focus on one or multiple concentrations. Alternatively, students may opt out of specialization by choosing any four BFIN courses numbered above 310 across all concentrations.
