Finance sits at the intersection of economics, strategy, and accounting, examining how businesses and people distribute resources across time amid uncertainty. The finance program establishes fundamental knowledge in corporate finance, investments, and financial systems before applying these principles to real-world challenges. These include financial markets, corporate financial management, global finance, equity valuation, asset allocation, bond markets, derivatives, risk mitigation, insurance, and startup financing. The BBA in Finance offers four specialized tracks: Financial Analyst, Banking and Financial Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, and Entrepreneurial Finance. Learners can focus on one or multiple specializations. Those opting out of a concentration may pick any four courses from the concentrations or BFIN courses numbered above 310.
