The Bachelor of Arts program offers students a comprehensive, multidisciplinary foundation across various artistic disciplines including painting/drawing, graphic design, printmaking, sculpture, photography, ceramics, conservation, and jewelry/metalsmithing. This is achieved through foundational and specialized courses, along with art history studies within a liberal arts framework. The curriculum mandates 30 credits of advanced studio art courses and 18 credits in Art History. Degree completion requires fulfilling all university requirements: General Education courses, Viewing a Wider World components, and sufficient electives to reach a minimum of 120 total credits (with at least 48 credits at the 300-level or higher). Note that developmental courses don't count toward degree requirements but may be necessary prerequisites for core English and Math classes.
