The Master of Science in Biology of Health (MSBH) is a graduate-level premedical program tailored for US residents pursuing careers in healthcare. This postbaccalaureate program offers advanced training in health sciences and core biomedical subjects, preparing students for medical, dental, physical therapy, physician assistant, podiatry, and other professional health programs. Participants strengthen their academic foundation through rigorous coursework, demonstrate graduate-level competency, and gain preparation for standardized admissions tests.
Beyond classroom learning, MSBH students receive guidance from NJIT's Pre-Health Advisory Committee. This committee offers expert mentorship on academic planning, professional school applications, and standardized test preparation (including the MCAT). Additionally, the committee provides the preferred committee recommendation letter that most health professional schools require for admission.
