The Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics is a collaborative degree program between NJIT and Rutgers-Newark. This program provides students with a comprehensive physics track, covering multiple key physics disciplines. Students also have the option to pursue a dual major combining Computer Science with Applied Physics or Applied Mathematics with Applied Physics (both BS programs). The current curriculum outlined in the online catalog applies to students who enrolled at NJIT as first-year students during or after Fall 2000. Earlier enrollees should contact the department to determine their applicable curriculum.
The Mathematical Sciences B.S. degree establishes a robust grounding in essential mathematical principles, enabling graduates to utilize mathematical and statistical methods across various professional domains such as R&D, healthcare, technology, finance, and more.
