If you're pursuing a career in forensic sciences or looking to enhance your expertise in law enforcement, laboratory work, legal fields, investigations, or related professions, this Master of Forensic Sciences program equips you with cutting-edge, practical skills. The curriculum focuses on fundamental human anatomy, death investigation techniques, trauma and disease analysis, and identifying unidentified deceased individuals. You'll gain expertise in collaborating with forensic pathologists and investigators while mastering the application of scientific methodologies to solve legal challenges.
This Criminalistics Specialization mandates an undergraduate degree in physical sciences (chemistry, biology, or related laboratory sciences) or approval from the Academic Program Director. Students complete their studies with a faculty-guided master's research project, supported by a committee of core and adjunct faculty members chosen from within the program.
