In this HR Master's program, participants examine key topics such as hiring practices, employee benefits, union relations, technological impacts, ethical considerations, and workplace safety through a combination of academic frameworks and hands-on applications. Aspiring and practicing HR specialists can focus their studies on Organizational Leadership. National University delivers this Human Resource Management Master's program through both in-person and digital formats.
The Organizational Leadership concentration develops professionals into forward-thinking, solution-driven change agents for evolving organizations. Through coursework, practical activities, and a culminating thesis, this track is designed for individuals seeking to master and implement both the technical and thoughtful aspects of leadership across various sectors—including corporate and nonprofit environments, both locally and globally.
To obtain an MA in Human Resources, candidates need to finish a minimum of 49.5 quarter units at the graduate level. Up to 13.5 quarter units of transfer credit may be accepted from previous graduate studies at other institutions, provided these credits are relevant to the degree and weren't applied toward another advanced qualification. The capstone project course should be completed as the final requirement in the program sequence.
