To earn the Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies, students must complete 90 quarter units minimum, comprising 49.5 units of legal specialty courses, a 4.5-unit English for Professionals course, and at least 37.5 units of General Education requirements as outlined in the University catalog. The American Bar Association mandates a minimum of 27 quarter units of general education coursework spanning at least three disciplines such as social sciences, natural sciences, mathematics, humanities, foreign languages, and English.
