The Associate of Science in Hospitality and Restaurant Management equips students for mid-level roles or Manager-In-Training opportunities within the hospitality sector. The curriculum provides hands-on experience and leadership development in key areas including: food safety protocols, culinary operations, front-of-house service coordination, team leadership, budgeting, accounting principles, hotel administration, and legal aspects of hospitality. Graduates fulfilling all degree requirements will additionally receive the National Restaurant Association's Food Protection Manager Certification after successfully completing the ServSafe Exam. This degree pathway aligns with the Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona and other institutions. Prospective transfer students should meet with both the Hospitality Management Coordinator and academic advisors to explore transfer possibilities.
