The Associate of Science in Administration of Justice for Transfer offers comprehensive foundational education in the field. Learners will develop skills to recognize and implement legal precedents in practical settings, gain readiness to comprehend criminal code applications in crime investigation and documentation, and understand societal elements influencing police-community relations. This program supports students pursuing further undergraduate studies in social sciences.
To obtain an associate degree for transfer, candidates must complete 60 transferable CSU units comprising either IGETC or CSU GE breadth requirements plus an 18-unit major. A minimum 2.0 GPA in all CSU-transferable courses is required, with all major courses completed at a C grade or higher. Those earning this transfer degree are exempt from additional local graduation requirements.
