The Master of Music program cultivates exceptional performing artists at the graduate level. This advanced degree trains aspiring professionals in various musical disciplines, including opera performance, concert artistry, orchestral playing, collaborative piano, composition, arranging, freelance musicianship, and conducting. Participants may pursue careers as private instructors or coaches, either as their primary occupation or as part of a multifaceted professional journey. Additionally, the program equips students for doctoral studies in music performance and pedagogy. Regardless of their individual goals, students in the John J. Cali School of Music's Master of Music program enhance their artistic skills and deepen their musical understanding to prepare for their future as accomplished musicians.

Qualification Requirements
The Graduate School requires the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree in Music in order to be eligible to apply for a graduate program. Applicants with non-U.S. degrees need not submit transcripts. Instead, they must submit a course-by-course evaluation along with U.S. degree equivalency information of their coursework from any member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or by Educated Choices.
