The Master of Music program cultivates exceptional performers at the graduate level, building upon undergraduate foundations. This advanced degree trains aspiring professionals in various musical disciplines, including operatic performance, concert artistry, orchestral playing, collaborative piano, composition, arranging, independent musicianship, and conducting. Graduates may pursue private teaching or coaching as their primary vocation or as one component of a multifaceted career. Qualification Requirements

The Graduate School requires the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree in Music in order to be eligible to apply for a graduate program. Applicants with non-U.S. degrees need not submit transcripts. Instead, they must submit a course-by-course evaluation along with U.S. degree equivalency information of their coursework from any member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or by Educated Choices.

Statement of Purpose
Letters of Recommendation: Two.

A minimum TOEFL score of at least 83 on the internet-based test (iBT) or 62 on the paper-based test (pBT).
For IELTS test takers, the minimum required score is 6.5.
