This specialized teacher certification program is designed for educators who currently hold general education certification in a Content Area and seek additional qualification in special education (Teacher of Students with Disabilities). The curriculum focuses on inclusive teaching practices.
Important: New Jersey requires all special education instructors to maintain dual certification in both general education (P-3, K-6, or Content Area) and special education (Teacher of Students with Disabilities).

Qualification Requirements
The Graduate School requires the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree in order to be eligible to apply for a graduate program.
