The CFA Institute has granted significant accreditation to Montclair State University's Feliciano School of Business Finance program through its University Affiliation initiative. This distinction honors academic institutions that incorporate substantial elements of the CFA Program's Candidate Body of Knowledge into their curriculum. Such recognition serves as valuable confirmation for both current and prospective students, as well as employers, that the finance curriculum aligns with the esteemed CFA standards and establishes a strong groundwork for professional success in finance.
The accelerated 4+1 Bachelor's/MBA pathway spans five years, with students dedicating their initial three years to undergraduate coursework in their selected major. During their fourth year, participants fulfill remaining bachelor's degree requirements while simultaneously completing six graduate-level MBA credits that apply toward both degrees.
The fifth year involves full-time graduate studies to complete the General MBA requirements. Candidates must apply during their junior year and maintain specified academic standards for MBA program admission in their senior year. Those who don't meet criteria or opt out of the MBA track after four years will receive their bachelor's degree. Successful completion of the entire program results in dual credentials: an undergraduate degree in the chosen field alongside an MBA.
