The Chemistry Major integrates Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics coursework with hands-on lab experience and mandatory research. Program graduates secure roles in industry, enter doctoral or Master's programs, or teach at the high school level.
Our Department fosters an engaging learning atmosphere with extensive opportunities for practical experimentation and independent research. We aim to equip driven individuals for careers or further studies in chemistry, biochemistry, and related sciences, including medicine and pharmacology through our Articulation Programs, as well as biotechnology and bioengineering.
This specialization caters to students interested in the business side of the (bio)chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, covering areas like technical sales, management, logistics, and marketing. Participants build a solid chemistry background while acquiring business basics, readying them for entry-level roles in chemical industries and allied fields.
