The Combined Degree program allows undergrads to take graduate-level courses during their senior year, applying these "swing courses" toward both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees. This accelerated pathway typically lets students complete both degrees in about five years through focused study. Those considering this option can explore detailed program criteria on the University's Combined Programs webpage.
The Dual Certification Combined Degree is a five-year track that results in: ESL teaching certification (P-12), Special Education certification, a bachelor's degree, and a master's degree. Applicants need undergraduate admission to the Teacher Education Program first. Successful completion of the undergrad phase is required before advancing to the one-year graduate portion for the master's degree.
