Our program boasts three full-time and two part-time faculty members, along with several affiliated instructors, making us the sole institution in the Northern Rocky Mountains providing students with a cutting-edge curriculum. This program cultivates a deep analytical grasp of artistic creation and its contextual evolution from antiquity to modern times. We uphold exacting historical scholarship standards while pushing past conventional Art History confines to examine fresh viewpoints emerging from cross-cultural interactions, multidisciplinary methods, and theoretical investigations. Our professors bring substantial expertise in fieldwork, museum studies, and archival investigation, complemented by robust publication histories and profound methodological knowledge. We equip graduate students for professional paths in academia, arts management, and critical analysis.
