Statistics B.S. in Mathematics with Statistics Focus, Minor
Montana State's Statistics curriculum equips students with fundamental quantitative analysis skills. Learners explore data pattern recognition, visualization techniques, mathematical model building, and methods to identify biases and uncertainties in data. This training enables Statistics majors to develop and evaluate observational research, surveys, and scientific studies that enhance data interpretation across diverse professional fields.

The Mathematics program at Montana State provides two other Major Concentrations: Applied Mathematics and Pure Mathematics. Students may also choose Statistics as a minor subject.
