Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering with Minor Option
Financial engineers merge economic principles with engineering techniques to help organizations navigate risk management, a critical function in our interconnected world economy. Montana State's Financial Engineering curriculum provides intensive education in key industry areas including economic analysis, advanced engineering math, and actuarial science. This interdisciplinary program is collaboratively administered by the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department and the Agricultural Economics & Economics Department. Students also have the option to pursue Financial Engineering as a supplementary minor.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.

Application Deadlines Fall Semester: July 1; Spring Semester: November 15; Summer Session: March 15.
