Chemical Engineering students regularly participate in practical laboratory experiences to investigate the fundamentals of chemical processes central to their discipline. From collaborating with leading experts on biofilm research to securing placements in competitive national programs like the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), these students gain diverse skills applicable to careers in sectors ranging from petrochemical production and drug development to environmental solutions and beyond.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
