The Music Education (K-12 Broadfield) program at Montana State University prepares future educators to teach music across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade. Students pursuing this degree can specialize in either Instrumental or Choral studies and enjoy numerous performance experiences during their time at MSU. These include participation in diverse musical ensembles, from choir to marching band. Through this combination of practical performance experience and coursework in music theory and teaching methods, graduates become qualified for Montana teaching certification in music education.
