Montana State's Philosophy department offers students a broad selection of courses examining varied subjects through the works of influential thinkers, both historical and contemporary. The curriculum focuses on comprehending various approaches to fundamental inquiries, including emotional impact in cinema, ethical dilemmas in healthcare and biotechnology, ecological and animal welfare concerns, life's beginnings and consciousness studies, along with developing skills to evaluate and critique these perspectives.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
