The Liberal Studies program provides a multidisciplinary foundation for comprehensive learning, focusing on developing critical reading, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities alongside core knowledge that prepares graduates for diverse professional paths and continuous personal growth. Students must select among three curriculum tracks: the Quaternity track (available online) for a classic liberal arts education, or thematic course clusters (Option II), featuring Environmental Studies and Global/Multicultural Studies concentrations. Credit hours cannot be double-counted across different degree requirements. A minimum of 30 program credits must be completed after officially declaring as a Liberal Studies major.
