At Montana State, Liberal Arts Studio students embark on their artistic education through Foundations courses that establish essential design thinking and visual literacy skills for their program journey. These undergraduates can then channel their creative expression into one of six specialized disciplines: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and extended media, metalsmithing, or ceramics. While developing expertise in their chosen medium, students complement their studio practice with a comprehensive liberal arts curriculum.
The Art program provides four distinct concentration options: Art Education K-12 Broadfield, Art History, Graphic Design, and Studio Arts.
