The computer engineering graduate program provides pathways to earn an MS degree (with both thesis and non-thesis tracks), a Ph.D., or a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng) degree. These programs are available both on-campus and through remote learning platforms. Students can pursue M.S. degrees at either the Rolla campus or the St. Louis Engineering Education Center. Course selections and study plans are customized by students in consultation with their advisors and department approval.
Aligned with Missouri S&T's institutional goals, the computer engineering program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge to become leaders in addressing societal challenges through computer engineering solutions.
The electrical and computer engineering department provides graduate-level computer engineering programs, including graduate certificates, M.S. degrees (with thesis and non-thesis options), Ph.D.s, and Doctor of Engineering degrees. All programs are offered on the Rolla campus, with M.S. programs additionally available via distance learning. Doctoral programs through distance education require individual approval. Graduate studies typically involve specialization in one or more focused areas within computer engineering.
