The Natural and Geologic Hazards graduate certificate offers structured training in evaluating and managing geological risks.
This Geologic Hazards Certificate is available to individuals with bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees in Geology, Geophysics, Geological Engineering, Geotechnics, or Civil Engineering, as well as current graduate students in these disciplines at Missouri S&T. Participants must complete four specified courses (outlined in the curriculum) with a minimum 3.0 GPA across all certificate coursework. Students have a three-year timeframe to fulfill all requirements after enrollment.
