Provides professionals with a chance to enhance their Lean Six Sigma expertise via a adaptable graduate-level program. This certification establishes a strong base in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and techniques that can be directly implemented in workplace process enhancement initiatives.
Tailored for employed professionals, this program allows certificate courses taken for graduate credit to transfer toward an M.S. degree upon admission. Completing the four-course sequence with a B grade or higher in each course qualifies participants to apply for the engineering management M.S. program. The certificate can serve as a stepping stone to the full M.S. degree by completing six additional 3-credit courses. Eligible candidates must hold a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering or physical sciences, along with at least one year of professional experience or current enrollment in a Missouri S&T graduate program.
These graduate certificates cater to working professionals and are available to individuals with engineering or physical science degrees (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.) who have 12+ months of professional experience or current graduate student status at Missouri S&T. Graduate-level certificate courses may be applied toward a Master of Science degree following program acceptance.
