Missouri University of Science and Technology provides a fast-track program enabling students to obtain both a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Computer Engineering simultaneously. This intensive program can typically be finished within five years.
Qualification for this accelerated option requires completion of at least 90 undergraduate credit hours while maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA. Participants begin graduate coursework during their senior year, creating a seamless academic progression
ECE undergraduates at Missouri S&T studying electrical or computer engineering can apply for this combined BS/MS program, which offers faster degree completion than pursuing them individually. Students may combine degrees as: BS EE with MS EE, BS CpE with MS CpE, BS EE with MS CpE, or BS CpE with MS EE. Program advantages include:
Increased course selection flexibility across undergraduate and graduate levels,
Potential dual credit for up to nine hours of 5000-level ECE courses counting toward both degrees,
Lower undergraduate tuition rates for shared credit courses,
No GRE requirement for program admission,
Option to take additional graduate courses at any point after enrollment, and
Opportunity to start thesis research prior to completing bachelor's degree requirements.
