Students pursuing this concentration are required to take a foundational Insurance course, along with upper-level classes covering Life and Health Insurance, Property and Casualty Insurance, and Enterprise Risk Management.

The insurance sector plays a crucial role for both individuals and the economy, regardless of economic conditions. As the industry experiences steady and swift expansion, industry professionals anticipate this growth to persist, creating ongoing demand for qualified professionals. Career prospects are available for those with expertise in risk management and insurance, as well as individuals with training in associated disciplines.

The insurance field revolves around human interaction. At its core, insurance involves professionals providing various services to others - whether clarifying policy details, examining claims, or assessing risks. If you seek a dynamic, rewarding, and fast-moving profession centered on assisting people, the risk management and insurance sectors offer promising career paths.
