The Media Arts & Technologies program offers a specialized curriculum for students aiming to transfer to a four-year university or pursue careers in Web and interactive design, graphic design, video production, or print-media development. Graduates can explore roles such as webpage designer, multimedia developer, graphic artist, video editor, content creator, information architect, or layout specialist. Potential job titles include Web designer, graphic artist, video production assistant, Web developer, Flash designer, special effects technician, storyboard illustrator, and more. Students can obtain an associate degree by completing a certificate program and MiraCosta College's general education requirements for an Associate in Arts degree (see Associate Degrees).
