The Automotive Technology Program equips students for entry-level roles as automotive mechanics and offers additional training for those already working in the field. Courses also ready students for various state licenses and national certifications, such as exams from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Career paths include auto mechanic/repair technician, service manager, and parts specialist. Potential employers range from automotive dealerships to independent repair shops. Graduates of this program will gain the knowledge and skills needed to conduct brake, suspension, engine, and electrical repairs, service, and diagnostics as entry-level automotive technicians.
Students must be Eighteen years of age or older and able to benefit from instruction
A high school graduate or equivalent
IELTS score of 5.5
TOEFL score of 450 on the paper-based; test/133 on the computer-based test/ 46 on the iBT
DuoLingo English Test score of 75
