This Associate of Arts (AA) program is designed for students seeking a two-year comprehensive liberal arts education. The AA degree requires completion of 60 credit hours, including 44 credits in general education courses and 16 credits in introductory-level (100 and 200 series) elective classes. Students may apply no more than 16 pass/no pass credits toward the degree. To earn an AA degree, candidates must achieve a minimum 2.0 GPA. According to MSU regulations, at least 20 credits must be completed through MSU coursework. AA candidates must fulfill both the university's general education requirements and the specific cultural diversity component established for this degree.
