The combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science program in Computer Science allows motivated students to complete both degrees in about five years through intensive full-time study. Qualified seniors can enroll in three graduate-level courses and potentially earn up to 9 credit hours through examination for advanced undergraduate requirements.
This accelerated Computer Science BS/MS program offers multiple benefits: earlier engagement with graduate-level work, quicker discovery of research specialties, and a nine-credit reduction in total coursework needed for both degrees.
Participants in this dual-degree Computer Science program retain flexibility - they may choose to withdraw during their fourth year and receive just the BS degree if all undergraduate requirements are met, including examination credits. Admission to the accelerated track requires submission of a graduate school application.
