Physicists aim to uncover deeper insights into the fundamental workings of our world, spanning from subatomic particles to cosmic structures. Delve into the physical principles governing universal phenomena through an academic program designed to equip you for advanced studies and careers in scholarly research.
Engage in hands-on research. Undergraduates can collaborate with professors on diverse research initiatives, typically partnering with a faculty mentor for at least two semesters—though many students extend this commitment by pursuing additional research opportunities. Our program emphasizes experiential learning, with undergraduate research being just one facet of our comprehensive educational approach. The physics department fosters a collaborative environment through faculty guidance and student camaraderie. With intimate class sizes (averaging 25 students per cohort), undergraduates rapidly integrate into our academic community. Throughout their studies, students explore multiple physics specializations, significantly enhancing their career prospects after graduation.
