The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides graduate programs for both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees, covering mechanical engineering and engineering mechanics. Students can customize their academic journey by selecting from an extensive array of courses and research opportunities tailored to their career goals. Study plans often incorporate coursework from both within and outside the department. Research is conducted across four primary disciplines: Fluid Thermal Science and Engineering, Biomechanics, Dynamic Systems and Control, and Solid Mechanics, Design, and Manufacturing.
