Landscape architecture integrates artistic, cultural, scientific, and technical expertise to assess, design, plan, develop, and manage outdoor spaces. The program centers on an engaging studio-based curriculum alongside traditional classroom instruction. Foundational design studios are enriched with coursework in natural and social sciences, arts, and humanities. Those studying landscape architecture cultivate an awareness of ecological and societal systems, creative problem-solving abilities, technical proficiency, and a dedication to enhancing human environments while conserving natural resources and biodiversity. The 4.5-year program culminates in a professionally accredited Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA). Additionally, students may choose a five-year dual degree option that pairs the BLA with a graduate degree.
